Sorry, not only do I torture everyone with endless pictures of my kiddos, I’ve added animals to the mix.

On a recent trip to Alabama, my family rescued this munchkin from what likely would have been a short-lived life. They lovingly welcomed the starved, flea and tick ridden little munchkin into their home and tirelessly bathed her and removed ticks all while grieving the loss of my beautiful grandmother.

Thank you, Aunt Betsy, Karen, Aunt Jane and Aunt Judy.

During all of this my dad sent me some pictures and I quickly agreed to take her.

How could I not??? IMG_8595

The next morning I flew into Alabama and met Miss Dixie/Talladega/Alabama/Chloe.

I adored her.

Following the funeral my parents drove back to Michigan with her, (15 hours in a car with a puppy!!!) and came up with an elaborate plan to surprise my kids. Needless to say, K & C were/are ecstatic.

You’re amazing, Dad and Karen. Thank you.

I am thankful I was able to make it to Alabama, spend some time with my family that I don’t see enough and come out of it with a new member of the Chandler family.

After much deliberation, she’s been named

Delilah Clementine Chandler.

  • Karen Lawson - A beautiful and sweet little pup who did not have a chance now has a loving and awesome family. Thanks to your Dad who agreed to let me take her to MI to find a home, knowing she may never leave us! But, thanks to a wonderful daughter and son in law with big hearts, this little fur baby gets a happy ever after story. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Oh, and two darling, gentle children to snuggle her.ReplyCancel

  • Mickie Roller - I knew Karen in the Volkswagen days.

What a sweet pup, possibly a shepherd mix? I know about Delilah…and look at Rudy. Karen saves puppies and cats, you can count on that!

    Congrats to My Little Loves.ReplyCancel
